Position Summary Arts and Science is seeking a talented Assistant/Special Projects Analyst to support the Senior Associate Deans. This individual will utilize available internal and external data sources to conduct research and analysis projects to support the Senior Associate Deans of Fiscal Affairs and Administration. Prepare reports for the Senior Associate Deans related to FAS-wide department/ program operations, annual/ strategic planning, and projects/initiatives. Consult with the Senior Associate Deans to determine the impact and feasibility of report findings and recommendations. Manage the administrative operations of the Offices; plan and implement School-wide events and activities, including policy breakfasts, receptions, and conferences; manage the Senior Associate Deans calendars; screen mail and requests for appointments; supervise office operations and staff. Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's degree in a field with strong quantitative training (Finance, BCIS, Economics, Sociology, Statistics, et al.) and Preferred Education: Master's degree preferred. Required Experience: 2-3 years' relevant experience with data collection and retrieval, statistical analysis, and reporting or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent analytical and written/verbal communication skills. Ability to present information to senior administrators. Proficiency with desktop office suite, statistical packages, and ad hoc reporting tools. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint) Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge SPSS, Brio, and experience with financial and human resource data systems.
